The bar
Natural wine, plates to share and good music in a former Irish pub in the Raval.
Who we are
Eric Juslen, Kaisla Laranta and Tomson Tukiainen are three Finns living in Barcelona who share one passion: natural wine. Before they had a bar of their own, they took their pop-ups around Europe and tried their luck in several spots across the city. Then they found the place: a former Irish pub on Carrer del Marquès de Barberà, right next to Bar Cañete. They changed as little as they could and opened in March 2024, with one clear idea: to share the things that bring them joy.

The wine
Lucas Bozzoli, the sommelier, is French, and was an illustrator until a spell in Berlin introduced him to natural wine. He picks every bottle as if it were for his own home. There are over a hundred on the shelves: from Catalonia, Spain, Italy and Hungary and, above all, from Languedoc-Roussillon and the IGP Côtes Catalanes, because for him the soil matters more than borders. The list never stops changing, and the wines by the glass are on the blackboard.
The kitchen
The first menu was written by chef Giacomo Hassan, of Bodega Bonay: around fifteen plates to share. It gave the bar its octopus hot dog, crisp fried octopus in a bun with house-made kimchi, which stayed. The menu has kept changing, and every so often the kitchen goes to a guest, such as pastry chef Karla Palacio (@pieceofcakkke), who made the desserts on 27 August 2026.

The music
Eric has a huge vinyl collection. Manifest isn’t a club or a listening bar: it’s a natural wine bar where the music is always good. Sometimes there are guest DJs; other times it’s friends who end up behind the decks. This summer @iosnua played on 15 July, and Cami Alberti on 5 September, on a night billed as “Lo natural es perrear”.

The night
Candles on the tables, bottles up the walls, and a mix of young locals and people from elsewhere. Until half past eleven it’s calmer. After that, anything can happen.
«Rock n’roll, puede ocurrir cualquier cosa.»
Away from home
Manifest grew out of pop-ups and has never stopped doing them. In August 2026 it went to Helsinki: on the 9th with @gadeplanhki, and on the 12th taking over the whole kitchen at Rogue Rouge, famous octopus hot dog included.

What our guests say
